PHASE 2 — BID ACCEPTED

Confirm you are ready to start

When a poster accepts your bid you will get a notification. Go to your dashboard and click "Confirm I am ready to start." The poster does the same — once both confirm, the job moves to In Progress.

This mutual confirmation is important. It means both parties have agreed on the terms before any work begins — protecting you if there is ever a dispute.
Make sure you have agreed on a start time via messaging before confirming.
PHASE 3 — IN PROGRESS

While you are working

The job is underway. Use PieceJob messaging to stay in touch with the poster. When you have finished the work, mark the job as complete from your dashboard.

Keep communicating
Update the poster on progress via PieceJob messages.
Mark complete when done
When all the work is finished, click "Mark job as complete" on your dashboard.
Do not leave without marking complete
Always mark jobs complete — it triggers the payment confirmation and allows the poster to review you.

PHASE 4 — PAYMENT

Confirm you received payment

Once the job is marked complete, confirm whether you received your payment. Both parties confirm on the platform — this creates a clear record for everyone.

If you were paid: Click "Yes, I was paid" — the job is fully closed.
If you were NOT paid: Click "I was not paid" and describe the issue. PieceJob will follow up on payment disputes.
Your ratings and prestige tier are updated after each completed job. More completed jobs = higher tier = more bids accepted.

Building your prestige

Your tier upgrades automatically as you complete more jobs and earn reviews. Higher tiers appear higher in search and get more direct offers from posters.
